I wanted to share with you the cute anchor chart I made for this week! I'm kind of in love with it.
It's pretty clear to anyone who even glances in my classroom that space is my absolute favorite unit to teach...of all time. This week we are wrapping up this unit by learning about the space race! It is so important for kids to understand why space technology is so important and exciting to our country. I love watching their faces as they watch the Apollo 11 mission successfully land. It's one of my favorite moments as a teacher. I wanted to share with you the cute anchor chart I made for this week! I'm kind of in love with it. Any cute anchor charts in your classroom lately?

Hello blog world! It feels like forever since I've seen you! I got back from the professional development experience of a lifetime last Friday. I was ready to come home to see my family, but I'm already missing Space Camp! This week I have to catch up on several things (Master's class homework, buying a new car with the hubs, catching up on housework), but I couldn't wait to share with all of you a few pictures from Space Camp! For those of you who follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook, you know I've been shoving these pictures down your throats for the past seven days, so you can ignore them. :) Space Camp was an incredible, life-changing experience. I was able to collaborate with teachers from all across the United States and world, including teachers from China, Australia, Mexico, and Turkey. Be sure to check out my friend Missy and I's blog about Space Camp (on the top header) to read more about our experience!
